Book Review: Krim Du Shaw by Talia Haven

by M. J. Joachim

If you like the mystery and magic of unicorns, and who doesn’t, you’ll probably find Krim Du Shaw an intriguing little story. It’s sad in a way, as humans interfere with Krim, the main unicorn that this fable is about. There’s a lot to be said for making people think and wonder about things, when they read a good book.

This is a children’s story of sorts, one with some sad things to consider and discuss. It’s also a bit of a fantasy, because as we all know, unicorns aren’t real. The power of love and innocence, those things are real, and they play a very big part in this little book.

I enjoyed it, though it’s definitely not my favorite that Talia Haven has written. Regardless, I’m sure you’ll find it entertaining enough, and if you have kids, they’ll learn a few things from it too.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Please don’t forget to add this blog to the list of those you contribute to. Thank you.
