Book Review: The 12 Days of Christmas Adventure by Marianne Baker Ball

by M. J. Joachim

Encouraged by the playful theme of doorbell ditch and Secret Santa, The 12 Days of Christmas Adventure is a perfect choice to start preparing for the holiday season. Combining old and new Christmas traditions, along with the true reason for the season, the birth of Christ, this book had me hooked from beginning to end.

Craft ideas are appropriate for all ages. Recipes sound scrumptious and I can’t wait to try them out this year. Teachers will love this book, because ideas are easy, instructions detailed, flexibility encouraged and time efficient. Churches will also find this book helpful as they try to help as many people as possible receive a wonderful Christmas. I personally think this book will do well for anyone, including employers and employees in every field around.

Families, neighbors, friends and strangers can all enjoy the beauty and fun of this simple treasure of gift giving ideas, along with easy ideas on how to make it enjoyable for everyone involved. It’s an all inclusive caring is sharing, gift giving, treasure hunt and more, without breaking the bank.

Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, this book is a fun way to be kind to others and enjoy the anticipation of surprise and bounty of friendship. It’s a quick read and a wonderful resource. Don’t wait! Go pick up a copy today!

Only 76 more days until Christmas…
